Sarah used college mail from schools she is rejecting to make a forest full of cute trees!

Craft Night
The ladies at Daniel's preschool started a weekly knitting night. Sarah was great at helping those of us less experienced knitters!

St. Patrick's Day Snow
Needless to say, by March, we were all sick of snow. I did have some fun leaving St. Patrick's Day greetings in the snow with the green snow paint Aunt Debbie had sent the kids!

Imogen turns 5!
Daniel had a great time painting April the Cat at Imogen's pottery party! Imogen loves lambs, so we gave her a Lamby doll and some of Lamby's story books.

Aunt Gene and Bubba sent Sarah and Emily each a latch-hook rug kit for Christmas. Sarah was quite the diligent worker bee, and finished hers in no time. She's thinking about making it a pillow. Emily, on the other hand, is still working on hers!

Gingerbread Houses- December 23, 2011
We had Caroline over to decorate gingerbread houses. The girls had a fabulous time, and most of the candy actually made it on to the houses!
Christmas Crafts & RG3- December 16, 2011
The girls had a long list of people to make crafts for this Christmas, so they made button wreaths, gingerbread place mats, and tree bookmarks.

Knit Your Bit- December 11, 2011
Sarah knitted a hat for "Knit Your Bit," which gives the hats to the homeless. Her hat was beautiful, and quite large, so hopefully it kept the head of a large man quite warm!

Scrapbooking! August 25-28, 2011
Our annual scrapbook weekend was threatened by Hurricane Irene, but we didn't let a storm dampen our spirits! Despite the constant coverage, the hurricane missed us completely on our trip, and my flight was not even in the slightest impacted by the weather. We even landed early! It was a great weekend, and I managed to get quite a few pages done. I'm almost into 2010 . . . yes, 2010. Sadly, that is not a typo. At least I am a little better on the blog! I referred to it frequently while scrapbooking for dates and journaling.

Coloring- May 30, 2011
Many years ago, Nanny made this crayon carrier for Sarah. For years, she carried it every Sunday to Mass. Now Daniel uses it, and I know Nanny is smiling down on him.

Daniel loves to color. His favorite thing to color is Gil from, can you guess . . . Bubble Guppies. Today, he settled for Nonny and Bubble Puppy since he has already colored Gil!
Scrapbooking- March 11, 2011
For 6 years, we have gathered every month (well, almost every month) for dinner and scrapbooking. While some nights are more productive than others, we always have a great time looking at pictures, comparing products, planning scrapbook trips, and sharing tips and tools.
We had a yummy cake to celebrate our anniversary. Sharon was kind enough to serve us in between layouts!
Daniel was not feeling the scrapbook love, so Nana let him color on her lap. He'll color on anything, so we figured we'd better keep a close eye on him with all of our good paper around! The girls always play on the Wii when we scrapbook, enjoying an opportunity to stay up later than usual!
Gene worked on some Christmas pages with Lincoln sitting on Santa's lap from their family trip to Disney World last Christmas.
Joanna worked on a countdown calendar for Lincoln for their next trip to Disney. She had a zillion little numbers and Mickey-shaped cut-outs!
