Easter- March 31, 2013

We headed to Debbie's on Easter Sunday (the girls had to serve at the Easter Vigil).  After a popcorn-free Lent, I was eager to fire up Debbie's yummy popcorn maker!

Jolee's Egg Hunt- April 24, 2011

Debbie's friend Jolee puts on an amazing egg hunt every Easter.  After a delicious potluck meal, the little ones (Daniel & Jolee's one year old grandson) had their own egg hunt in the front yard.  Then, the dads and the older teens hid probably more than 300 eggs in her backward.  Some eggs contained candy, and others contained numbers.  The numbers are the order from which prizes are selected from the prize table.  With about 150 prizes, everyone came home with quite a bit of loot!

Easter Eggs at Aunt Kathe & Uncle Jeff's- April 20, 2011

Every year we head to Aunt Kathe's house for the decorating of the eggs.  While Aunt Kathe was make the best french fries ever, Sarah, Emily and Andrea did the eggs.  Nana and I took lots of pictures while Uncle Jeff & Daniel had some "male-bonding" with various cars, motorcycles (or motorbikes, as Daniel calls them), and other toys.

Egg Hunt- April 17, 2011

We headed to Papa's house for our annual Easter Egg Hunt. This was the first year Daniel seemed to understand the game. His eggs (green and blue) were on the deck, while Emily's eggs (orange and purple, of course) and Sarah's eggs (pink and yellow) were all over the yard. He would not hold the bucket, but Papa helped him with that.  Everyone had fun running around searching, and Emily was the first to find all of her eggs.  Daniel's favorite toy was the bouncy balloon ball!
