The Flying Saucer- May 10, 2012
Kate took Debbie and me to her favorite watering hole, The Flying Saucer. While we were there, we met a Tim Gunn look-a-like who claimed to be from Australia, but we were suspicious. He ate our chips and bought us a round of drinks, so in the end, it was a fair trade. He attempted to guess Kate's major, which was pretty funny. Then her fellow materials friends showed up, and he went on his merry way. We had a fun night, but stayed up way past my bedtime! On the wall, I found a plate from Altus, Oklahoma, so I had to snap a photo for Jeff!
Leaders' Club Dinner- May 10, 2012
For dinner, we headed to Julia's Leader's Club end-of-year dinner. With a Luau theme, we all sported leis and had some pretty goofy photo ops!
North Carolina- May 10, 2012
Daniel and I headed to North Carolina for a weekend of Kate's graduation fun. We met Debbie at the Archivers in Raleigh for a little shopping and lunch. Daniel rode the train, much to Aunt Debbie's delight!
Shawn's Recital- May 6, 2012
The JazzFest continued on Sunday, when we went to Shawn Simon's graduate recital at Towson. Shawn didn't know Jeff & Kathe were coming, so it was so much fun to see his face when he saw them in the audience! The recital was amazing, and we are looking forward to hearing him play again soon.

Dinner with Duchess & Adam- May 5, 2012
Our day of fun continued when Adam joined us for dinner. He brought Duchess along, and we all had fun playing with her, especially Daniel. His favorite phrase was, "Run, puppy!" We foolishly sent Jeff and Emily to buy s'mores fixings, which of course turned into a yet another unsuccessful geocaching opportunity.

Jazz at the BMA- May 5, 2012
Our fun with Aunt Kathe & Uncle Jeff continued with Sarah's jazz concert at the BMA. During the concert, Emily and Uncle Jeff went on yet another geocaching misadventure, while Aunt Kathe, Daniel and I checked out some of the tiny houses.
Geocaching- May 5, 2012
Uncle Jeff and Emily went on several wild goose chases while geocaching. They did not have much luck, and possibly ruined Uncle Jeff's rate of success. Rumor has it they went onto construction sites, fell off mountains, and were viewed by family members and friends on the sides of highways. Good times. They searched for about half a dozen, and found none. I was along for one attempt, and of course, I had to take a few pictures. Note you can not see Jeff in some of the photos, as he is in the hedge.
Marathon Kids- May 5, 2012
Emily participated in the Marathon Kids event at school. During the school year, she walked the equivalent of four or five marathons . . . she lost track!
May 4, 2012
When we picked up Uncle Jeff & Aunt Kathe from the airport, our first stop was Wawa. Poor Uncle Jeff really misses Wawa, so we wanted to make sure he had a fix while he was visiting! When we were checking out, I noticed the employee's name was Daniel, so, we had to snap a quick photo.
May 3, 2012
While we were outside playing baseball, Amelia invited us over for a play date with her friends. There was sliding, pizza, bouncing, and lots of laughter!

The Insect Swing- April 27, 2012
Emily was in the Dance Club at school. They met every Friday, and put on a show at the end of the school year. They danced The Insect Swing. Emily and Jane were the tap dancers for the group.
