While Emily's Al Capone project didn't move on in NHD, she did make it into the newspaper!

Service Learning

For February's Service Learning at Daniel's preschool, the children brought in canned good to donate to the food pantry just down the street.  We walked to the donation site and had a tour.

Starfish

Patty had a reading of her latest novel Starfish, the long-awaited sequel to Mermaids at the Ivy Bookshop.  It was well worth the wait!

Suicide Hill

Our friends Craig Junior and Craig Senior came over with a friend for some sledding fun on Suicide Hill on our 8 millionth snow day.  Sarah went along, but Emily and Daniel decided to stay nice and warm inside!  They warmed up on the little hill behind our house, then moved on to the very steep Suicide Hill!

Thankfully, no bones were broken!

An Unexpected (but absolutely fabulous) Guest!

We were treated to a surprise overnight visit from Tom Buchheit when his flight through our fair city was cancelled.  We had a great time, but we missed the rest of the family!  He and Daniel had a ball playing on the Wii, and we had a ton of snow while he was here!  Thankfully, he was home in time to spend Valentine's Day with his lovely bride Emily!

Honor Band

Cougar Trail

My college friend Dobo came down for some CofC hoop action.  While the boys were unable to bring home a win, it was great to see them in action!

Mommy's Office

Daniel had a snow day, so he came to my office, where he had fun drawing on the white board.

Guacamole

Greg makes guacamole with his new molcajete that he got for Christmas.  It was delicious!
