National History Day

Sarah made it all the way to Nationals in her NHD competition.  Last year, she made it to State, so she was thrilled to move on even further this year.  She didn't take home the top prize, but she did win a trip to New Orleans in December to represent Maryland at the National WWII Museum's opening of "Road to Tokyo," their newest exhibit.

Good Times at the Zoo

George and I were chaperones for the big Zoo field trip, so we combined our groups to one super group!  We had five great kids between us, and no one was lost at any point.  All in all, we counted that as a total success!
