Halloween
It seems Saturday is the perfect day for Halloween! It was nice to be able to enjoy time with our friends and trick or treat without the rush of getting home from school, homework, and dinner! We had a grand time at Max's house, then the kids all went out trick or treating together. The kids had their picture taken for the neighborhood newsletter, too.

Vandy at South Carolina
Papa will let anyone sign his table at the tailgate!
Just before my game, Coach Spurrier retired. It was a sad day, but we were victorious, as always when I am there!

Happy Birthday, Kristen!
I had an amazing birthday with my friend Patty. She invited me to a two day scrap retreat weekend in Lancaster county. We left bright and early Friday morning for two relaxing, kid-free days! After dropping off our scrap supplies, we went on an adventure for these beyond delicious Amish doughnuts Patty described to me on the drive up to Pennsylvania. We stopped by to visit with her mom, and had lunch at Shady Maple. On Saturday, I watched my Gamecocks play while I scrapped. Just out of the picture is a delectable doughnut and a tasty Cheerwine! It was a day full of my favorite things!

Sarah & Dave get married!
Sarah and Dave had a beautiful wedding. In lieu of the traditional unity candle, they made a unity beer. At the reception, Greg gave a great toast, pointing out how long he and Dave had been friends, which Sarah quickly noted was longer than she'd been alive! Dave brought a tear to everyone's eye when he danced to a special song with Sophia. She was so surprised she could hardly move, so he picked her up to dance.
