BMA- June 29, 2012

We went on an adventure with our neighbor to explore the BMA.  The guards kept a close eye on us as we went from room to room!  Some parts were more entertaining for the kids than others, but all in all, everyone had a grand time.

Baseball with Papa- June 25, 2012

We went sightseeing in Mount Vernon, where we explored the original Washington Monument and the Peabody Library.  Later, Papa and Daniel played a bit of baseball in the front yard.

Orioles- June 24, 2012

Papa and B'dette joined us as we attended our first Orioles game (well, not Greg's first game . . . he went many times in his youth).  The Orioles won, with a home run hit by Matt Wieters!  Daniel was thrilled to see Kevin (the Bird), but only from a distance.  Somewhere, there is a picture of Papa with Daniel at the Kevin statue, but I can not find it!

Philly with Papa- June 23, 2012

For Christmas, Papa gave the girls a trip to Philly.  They took the train, and had a great day, seeing all sorts of sights.  The trip included Philly cheese steaks, of course!  We watched National Treasure, and the girls had fun showing us what they saw!

Papa and B'dette came for a visit! On our first day, it was incredibly hot, so the kids had some fun cooling off in the yard, then we headed to Federal Hill and Fort McHenry.
