Penn State at Virginia- September 8, 2012

Greg and Anthony had a crazy weekend at the Penn State-Virginia game.  The game did not turn out as he had hoped, and the weather was pretty uncooperative, but it was an adventure!

Onion Rings- September 7, 2012

Daniel Goes to Preschool! September 5, 2012

 Daniel started preschool this year at Hampden Christian School, and I can't express in words how much I love love love his school.  His teacher Miss Roseanne is so kind and loving, setting such a great example for the children.  He even gets lunch while he is at school.  The school does monthly service projects, and even the two year old class is included in the service learning.  I couldn't imagine a better place for him to go.

Mrs. Keri- August 28, 2012

We had to say goodbye to Mrs. Keri, Daniel's speech therapist.  We worked with her since we moved to the big city a year ago, so we were sad to see her go.  I was constantly awed by her sense of organization, and her ability to keep Daniel entertained for an hour ever week!  Mrs. Keri taught him to play Go Fish, so we think of her every time we play, which is often!!

First Day of School- August 27, 2012

Sarah is a big 8th grader, and Emily is in the 6th grade!  Both are in Ingenuity this year.

Nana B. & Granny Gayle- August 17, 2012

Debbie, Julia, Sarah, Emily, Daniel and I went to visit Nana B. and Granny Gayle.  Nana also came up, and the girls went home with Nana for a few days, while Daniel and I went back to Debbie's.  While we were there, the kids put on a great VBS concert for Nana B.

VBS concert!

Horses! August 16, 2012

Sarah's 13th birthday extravaganza continued to North Carolina, where we celebrated with a horseback riding birthday party, courtesy of Aunt Debbie & Uncle Scott!  Big kids Kate & Dan even joined the fun, as Dan had never ridden a horse before, as well as sweet Kari.
